hand drawing, 2D animation.

This is a collaboration video between a singer songwriter, Leslie Early and a visual artist, Sujin Kwon.

You can feel subtle, sensitive emotion between the song and the video.
You might feel like someone is whispering to your ears in the cold, cold winter time.
Of course, you're not alone.

ANN HAMILTON: the event of a threadDecember 5, 2012 - January 6, 2013Park Avenue Armory, NYCFor more information, visit http://www.armoryonpark.org/In being alone (on a swing) together (in a field), we find a condition of the social that is... 'the event of a thread'. Ann Hamilton's new work fills the Armory's Drill Hall with a visceral and literal poetry. Set into motion by visitors, a field of swings, a massive white cloth, a flock of homing pigeons, spoken and written texts, and transmissions of weight, sound, and silence weave through this expansive space to create a fabric of experience.

The Blind Robot by Louis-Philippe Demers

Dance Styles: Performance
Techniques / Methods: Robot Stage Lighting
Moods: Communicative Dark People Philosophy Poetic Sad

© Louis-Philippe Demers

In this installation, visitors are invited to sit in the front of this machine and engage into a non-verbal dialogue with the Blind Robot. The robot delicately explores the body, mostly the face, of the visitor in a manner that recalls what the blind humans are doing to recognize a person or an object.
